QUALIFICATION DESCRIPTION

This qualification was developed in consultation with key stakeholders to provide the competence component of the Textile Pathway of the Creative Skillset Advanced Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship Framework. Learners will complete this qualification with a concrete understanding of the following:

Health, safety and security at work, including monitoringthe workplace for hazards
How to improve workactivities, overcome operational problems, take corrective action, and makerecommendations for changes.

Optional units include: Produce Prototype Samples, Conduct Pre-Production Trials, Contributeto Product Development, and more.
