This qualification has been designed in response to an identified industry need for specific programmes of learning within the cutting and tailoring sector. It is the competence qualification in the Advanced Apprenticeship in Fashion and Textiles Tailoring. Learners will complete this qualification with a concrete understanding of the following:
Optional units include: Construct Patterns for Bespoke Tailoring, Carry Out Bespoke Selling, Make Handcraft/Bespoke Trousers or Skirt and Waistcoat: Basting, and more.
Learners who complete this qualification can progress to a variety of higher level training and study programmes and/or employment.
