These qualifications have been developed in collaboration with industry, providers and Lantra to help learners gain appropriate skills and knowledge to progress to higher levels of learning or to employment in the land based sector. Learners will complete this qualification with a concrete understanding of the following:
Optional units include: Maintain Irrigation Systems, Plan and Maintain Planted Areas, Design and Install Drainage Systems, and more
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress on to the ABC Level 3 Diploma in Work-Based Environmental Conservation, into employment, gain promotion to a more senior position within existing employment or progress into an Advanced Apprenticeship in the sector.
Alternatively learners may wish to make use of the transferrable skills they have developed to widen their land-based experience by pursuing additional ABC Level 2 qualifications such as the Work-Based Diplomas in Horticulture or Animal Care.
