The Speaking and Listening Award is designed to develop the learners ability to communicate orally in the target language. The Award is divided into three units to support production Unit 1 – Speaking, reception Unit 2 – Listening, and oral communication Unit 3 – Dialogue. On successful completion of this qualification, learners will be able to speak the target language, understand spoken language, and be acquainted with cultural conventions.
Learners can progress on to further learning such as ABC Awards wide selection of qualifications within the roman and non-roman languages sector.
