The Reading and Writing Award is designed to develop the learners ability to read and write in the target language. The Award is divided into three units that support reception Unit 1 – Reading, production Unit 2 – Listening and communication in writing Unit 3 – Reading and Written Response. On successful completion of this qualification, learners will be acquainted with the conventions of the script and its phonetic system.
Learners can progress on to further learning such as ABC Awards wide selection of qualifications within the roman and non-roman languages sector.
