QUALIFICATION DESCRIPTION

This qualification has been developed in collaboration with industry, providers and Lantra to provide learners with an understanding of environmental conservation and develop practical skills that can be used in the workplace. Learners will complete this qualification with a concrete understanding of the following:

  • How to monitor and maintain health and safety in the workplace
  • Optional units include: Access and Security in the Countryside, Prepare Sites to Create Habitats, Work With and Consult the Local Community, and more

Learners who complete this qualification can progress to ABCs Level 2 Certificate in Practical Environmental and Conservation Skills, the SEG Awards ABC Level 2 Diploma in Work-Based Environmental Conservation, or into paid or voluntary employment or an Apprenticeship in the sector.
