The ABC Level 2 Awards in MOT Testing have been developed in collaboration with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency DVSA to give learners the knowledge and skills required to perform MOT Tests.
This qualification is a requirement for learners who wish to gain the DVSA Certificate of Competence for MOT Testers.
The practical observation forms for this qualification can be downloaded from your ORS account.
These qualifications are a requirement for learners who wish to gain the DVSA Certificate of Competence in order to become an MOT Tester for vehicles in classes 1 & 2 and 4 & 7. Achieving these qualifications will enable learners to apply to the DVSA for their Certificate of Competence.
Once a learner has achieved their Certificate of Competence from the DVSA, they will be able to be nominated as an MOT Tester by an MOT Testing Station.
