A nationally recognised qualification helping learners to develop a range of employability skills, building self-confidence and motivation to seek, secure and sustain meaningful employment.
This qualification provides them with important skills, attributes, behaviours and values required to enter and succeed in the world of work.
The mandatory units help learners develop communication and work ready skills with the optional units designed to build further work skills appropriate to individual needs.
This qualification is not available in an apprenticeship framework and is not specifically designed to lead directly to employment in any particular area. However, it will support learners who need to develop employability skills in a relatively short time which may increase their prospect of gaining employment.
