The Award in Signing and Receiving Skills in British Sign Language is designed to develop learners’ ability to communicate in the British Sign Language. The Award is divided into three learning outcomes:
On successful completion of this qualification, learners will also become aware of key convention of British Sign Language and Deaf Culture.
Learners can progress on to further learning such as ABC Awards wide selection of British Sign Language qualifications at Entry 3 and Level 1, 2 and 3 Awards.
